Neuromuscular Therapy

Through applied knowledge of trigger points, neuromuscular therapy addresses postural distortion, restricted by body movement, and compressed nerves. This technique helps to balance the central nervous system and is great for chronic problems such as back pain, headaches, accident victims, etc.

Prenatal Massage

Devised specifically for mother-to-be. A massage that provides a comfortable and relaxing experience while incorporating the needs of the expectant mother throughout the various stages of her pregnancy. Lomi Lomi Massage (60 Minute Session Only)

Lomi Lomi is a form of full body massage that is unlike any other modality. In this Hawaiian massage, the therapist will use full body strokes that flow from head to toe. This massage requires draping to be different than other modalities. Towels are used to minimally drape so that proper coverage of the client is maintained. In traditional Lomi Lomi, heated oil is used instead of cream and the room is kept warm to ensure a comfortable environment.

Deep Tissue Massage

A more therapeutic massage, similar to Swedish, that releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body using slow deliberate strokes that focus on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue.

Sports Massage

Offered as a pre or post activity massage. This treatment can help prepare the body to function at peak efficiency or help to relax and recover after a strenuous workout. This massage allows the body to release the buildup of lactic acid in the muscles caused by overexertion. This tends to be a flat handed faster paced massage.

MyoFascial Release

The application of gentle, sustained pressure and movement into the fascial system. It is used to release restrictions in the fascia (the connective tissue that encases muscles and other structures throughout the body).

Reiki

A holistic approach to well being which cultivates a strong flow of energy in the physical body, while also supporting you in releasing patterns of emotional holding. This is done with or without massage. Reiki reduces stress, increases relaxation, stills the mind, and increases vitality and clarity.

Oncology Massage

For those who are currently receiving treatment or have ever been treated for cancer, oncology massage is specifically tailored to help ease the complications of cancer treatment. The therapist will adapt the massage for all stages of cancer from pressure, length of session, positioning, and avoidance of affected areas on the body to safely help those influenced by cancer to relax.
