Types of Massage Therapy

Our staff consists of both female and male therapists who are licensed and specially trained to provide the following therapies:

Neuromuscular Therapy

A comprehensive program of soft tissue manipulation techniques that balance the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord and nerves) with the structure and form of the musculoskeletal system (skeleton and muscles of the body).

Deep Tissue Massage

This massage releases the chronic patterns of tension in the body using long, slow strokes and deep finger pressure while improving circulation, range of motion and tension.

Swedish Massage/ Stress Relief/ Relaxation

A light to medium massage, utilizing long soothing strokes, designed to relax and reduce stress while improving circulation, range of motion and tension.

Sports Massage

Offered as a pre- or post- activity massage. This treatment can help prepare the body to function at peak efficiency or help to relax and recover after a strenuous workout. This massage allows the body to release the buildup of lactic acid in the muscles caused by overexertion.

Prenatal Massage

Devised specifically for mother-to-be, a program of care treatments to improve skin’s elasticity while relaxing the body and relieving heavy legs.

Couples Massage Lessons

Couples Massages in the Same Room

Let us pamper you and a loved one with a cozy experience of getting a massage together. Two massage tables are placed in the same room so each person can receive the massage they prefer.

Reflexology

Relieves stress through an organized system of pressure points on the feet. These focus points correspond or “reflex” to all areas of the body. This massage can be directed to problem areas; however the relaxing results will affect the entire body. This service is offered individually for feet.

Aromatherapy

Gentle massage using essential oils, which are blended in the massage cream, for a relaxing, yet therapeutic experience. This service is complimentary.

Hot Stone Massage

The application of deep, penetrating heat using heated stones. This treatment brings balance to the mind, body, and soul. It also relieves aches, pains and muscle spasms while increasing joint flexibility and blood circulation. The stones are turned and moved constantly as the practitioner works on the body. A feeling of total relaxation envelops the client.

Chair Massage

Massage usually performed at an event, in a corporation or anywhere for marketing purposes. This massage will help relieve tension, loosen stiff muscles and increase circulation in the neck, back, and shoulders.

Lomi Lomi Massage

Hawaiian massage that means “massage with caring hands”. The practitioner uses their forearms creating circling, ironing, sawing, and soothing motions. (60 minutes only)

Myofascial Release

The application of gentle, sustained pressure and movement into the fascial system. It is used to release restrictions in the fascia (the connective tissue that encases muscles and other structures throughout the body).

Reiki

A gentle hands on approach which effect the energy field of the body to heal wounds and pains at all levels (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual).
